Vietnam’s Prime Minister, Nguyen Tan Dung, paid a visit to the Rijk Zwaan headquarters in De Lier (The Netherlands) earlier today. The programme included the opportunity for him to learn more about Rijk Zwaan’s activities in South-East Asia.
Received in De Lier by the Rijk Zwaan management team, the Prime Minister displayed a keen interest in the vegetable breeding company. After attending a presentation on Rijk Zwaan and its growing number of initiatives in South-East Asia, the Prime Minister was given a brief introduction to the company’s wide range of products. A short presentation in ‘De Focus’, Rijk Zwaan’s phytopathological research centre, concluded the visit.
Sjaak van der Tak, Mayor of Westland, was also present during the visit. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung is in The Netherlands for a total of five days, during which time he has also met with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Her Majesty Beatrix, Queen of the Netherlands.
