Squash is a recent and exciting addition to the Rijk Zwaan portfolio in South Africa. Our first variety has shown excellent performance under local conditions, combining high yield, strong fruit quality, and a balanced plant structure. We are now expanding our offering with new varieties that bring improved disease resistance and consistent results for South African growers. These developments aim to support the region’s growing demand for reliable, high-quality squash. We look forward to introducing these promising varieties to the South African market soon.
