Kyoto RZ is an iceberg lettuce with a medium to large round head with strong, dark wrapper leaves. Kyoto RZ is a good all-rounder with excellent head uniformity and is especially suited to heavy soils. It is strong against bolting, tipburn and brown ribs. Kyoto RZ is suitable for outdoor and hydroponic production in warm season climate zones, for late spring, summer and early autumn.
