Paxton RZ is a hybrid white cauliflower for fresh market, retail, and processing industry. It features a heavy, bright-white curd with excellent density. Paxton RZ is suited for summer, spring, and autumn harvesting. It reaches maturity around 85-90 days. This is a dual-purpose variety, well suited to the whole-head, fresh market. Paxton RZ is easy to work with when floreting during processing, has a low waste percentage. Paxton RZ can be grown in all areas and is especially suited to areas with clubroot pressure. High resistance against Clubroot. Paxton RZ is the first Rijk Zwaan Pb Defense variety; a cauliflower with high resistance (HR) against clubroot races Pb:0, Pb:1 and Pb:3. Paxton RZ is a great choice in production regions with clubroot pressure.
